Kitchen Sink Stamps Challenge

The challenge was to incorporate a photo in a card or project.

You can find the challenge here . This was a really BIG CHALLENGE for me!!! I never use photos in my cards or projects, I nearly gave up till I came up with the idea of using a picture taken in

ROME - March 1973

I copied the picture and reduced its size by 30%.

It took me a long time to finish this projects, not because it was difficult but because I enjoyed every minute!

Easter Eggs wrap

Easter is coming!!!!

I have never made any chocolate wrap, so it was time to challenge myself.

Fridge magnet: Kitchen Sink Stamp Challenge

Last month Lynn, one of the Kitchen Sink Stamp Crew members, was the hostess of the Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge #8. The challenge was to create hand-stamped fridge magnets.

I made this fridge magnet for a friend and I had a great time. I used Kitchen Sink Stamps, the sentiment is computer generated. I applied some magnet tape on the back.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC7)

I created this frame for the Flourishes Challenge

The challenge was to use ribbon in a different way, so I have decided to frame one of my favourite ribbons.

Ink: Memento (Rich Cocoa)

A passion for Papertrey CHALLENGE

I love this colour combo. This is my entry for the "A passion for Papertrey" Challenge.

Stamps: PTI Green Thumb
Inks: Colorbox
Accessories: ribbon, rhinestones

I like how this card turned out.

I used the "Boxes, bags, tags" set from Papertrey. For the larger circle in the middle I used the "Borders&Corners {circles}" set (PTI), the larger flower is from "Beautiful Blooms" (PTI).

Accessories: Memento and Brilliance inks, Nestabilities, ribbon

For this card I used Happy Birthday Cupcake

Hello friend

This card is the exact replica of the purple card that received a Honorable Mention from Papertrey (see one of my previous posts).
I only changed the colour combo.

Stamps: Guide Lines, Birds of feathers (Papertrey)

Ribbon: Lemon Tart (Papertrey)

Accessories: rhinestones, nestabilities, Memento and Palette inks.

Finally I have created a card with my
"Remember" stamp set.
I colored the flowers with Copic Markers (R22/R24).

I love these Spellbinders dies.

For the background I used the PTI Polka Dots stamp set on cream cardstock, then I made a second background I stamped the tallest flower from the "Green Thumb" set on Lemon Tart cardstock.

The yellow flower is from "Flower Garden", the orange flower is from "Beautiful Blooms". All the flowers have been colored with Copic markers.

The sentiment is from the "Garden of Life" set.



Accessories: Cuttlebug, half pearls, Lemon Tart ribbon (PTI), Memento ink, outline stickers, Spellbinder dies.

December 2008: Guest Designer for Kitchen Sink Stamps

Today I would like to show the projects I made when I was choosen to be a Guest Designer for Kitchen Sink Stamps.

I loved this little squirrel from the very first moment!

Stamps: 3-Step Autumn Squirrel from Kitchen Sink Stamps

Inks: Memento (Tsukineko)

Accessories: chocolate satin ribbon, cuttlebug, Fiskar "Lace" corner punch






For my second project I used a glassine bag and I stamped it with Palette inks and only the outline (3rd step) of the 3-step butterfly set.

Accessories: outline stickers (corners), square rhinestones, Lemon Tart ribbon (Papertrey)

Since I was so inspired by the beautiful autumn colours, I also stamped a candle, very easy to make and it also makes a great gift!!!!

I made a separator for the inside of the tin, I used the sentiment from the 3-step Autumn squirrel and I stamped the nuts from the Anniversary set.

My second Honorable Mention

Last autumn I summited this card and won my second Papertrey Honorable Mention.
I like to make my own backgrounds I used a tiny stamp from "Boxes, bags, tags" stamp set. I used Palette inks (Summer sunrise and Lemon Tart for the background), for the flowers I used a mix of Palette inks and Versa Magic inks.
Since I didn't have matching rhinestones, I coloured them with Copic Markers.

Cardstock for the background is Lemon Tart (PTI).

My first Honorable Mention

This is the first card I summited for the Papertrey's Guest Star Stamper contest in July 2008. I was really surprised to see that I had received an Honorable Mention from Nichole Heady.

Inks: Lavender Moon and Plum Pudding (Palette PTI)
Ribbon: Lavender Moon and Plum Pudding satin dots (Palette PTI)

Quilter sampler

I loved the Quilter Sampler from the first moment it was previewed by Papertrey.

This is the first card I made with the Quilter Sampler (additions) set.

I coloured the quilts with Copic markers.

The Polka dots are from Papertrey's Polka dots stamp set. I used Memento inks.

The satin ribbon is from PTI (Lavender Moon).

Hello, my name is Emilia, I am from Rome (Italy), I am now living in Southwest Finland.
I am a stamper and I love papercrafts. I have an addiction for photopolymer clear stamps, ribbons and inks.

I started cardmaking more than two years ago, during a dark and snowy Finnish winter. Now, I am really addicted!

I mainly use Kitchen Sink stamps, Papertrey and Flourishes clear stamps. I also like Cornish Heritage backgrounders, and recently I've started creating my own backgrounds.

Kitchen Sink Stamps http://http//www.kitchensinkstamps.com/: I love 3-step and Multistep stamps, I have never had so many inkpads since I started using 3-step/Multistep stamps, they make me feel like if I am painter. They are so easy to use.


Papertrey: I love their fresh style.


Flourishes: I love Marcella Hawley's illustrations because I can color the images with Copics (my new addiction).

In my first post I would like to show the latest cards I made with Kitchen Sink Stamps:



I used 3 Step Hearts & Roses and Plaid Plus sets. I created a frame by using outline stickers and borders. The ribbon is from Papertrey (lavender moon).




In my second card I used my favourite color combo (Pink Grapefruit - Versamagic; Berry Sorbet- Papertrey Perfect match).


My last card for today:
The background has been stamped with a butterfly stamp from the Kitchen Sink Stamps Anniversary edition set. I love creating my own backgrounds.
